Milan are being linked with a possible summer swoop for Deportivo Alaves left-back Javi Lopez.
According to transfer expert Matteo Moretto, the 21-year-old is one of the candidates on the wish-list for Rossoneri chiefs Geoffrey Moncada and Giorgio Furlani.
He will turn 22 in March and is under contract with the Spanish side until June 2025.
Lopez has made 17 appearances in LaLiga so far this season, contributing three assists for his teammates.
He can play on the left side of defence or in a more advanced attacking wide role on the wing, so could in theory also fill in for Rafael Leao at times.
Anyone in the left-back position would of course face serious competition from first choice Theo Hernandez, who has been in recent weeks used as a central defender during the injury crisis.
There is a curious symmetry in that sense, because Theo Hernandez had also played for Deportivo Alaves in the 2016-17 season.
