Milan make contact for ex-Roma goalkeeper

Milan have made contact with the entourage of Antonio Mirante following the injury sustained by goalkeeper Mike Maignan.

Gianluca di Marzio reports that Milan view Mirante as an emergency signing and the ex-Roma man was close to signing for Spezia over the last few days. Maignan is expected to miss games till the next international break and the Rossoneri want another goalkeeper.

The contacts with Mirante’s agents are ongoing, with the Rossoneri seeing him as a cover in the goalkeeping department.

Mirante made 15 appearances last season (13 in the league and 2 in the Europa League) with the Giallorossi while keeping five clean sheets in the league. The goalkeeper from Castellammare di Stabia boasts 368 appearances in Serie A , 208 of which came with Parma.
