Milan are reportedly planning to submit another offer for Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez on Tuesday after having their initial proposal turned down, but the Eredivisie side are unwilling to sanction a transfer before the next round of Champions League fixtures according to the latest updates.
After announcing the signing of Kyle Walker from Manchester City on Friday, the Rossoneri are hoping to add another attacking option to Sergio Conceicao’s ranks before the close of the January transfer window.
Riccardo Orsolini has been linked, as has Gimenez, who is a traditional centre-forward rather than a winger.

Feyenoord reportedly value the Mexico international in the region of €40m, but Milan are still hoping to negotiate a discount on that asking price. Their initial offer reportedly stood in the region of €30m.
Reports from Calciomercato.com claim that Milan are planning to submit an improved bid for Gimenez on Tuesday, which could be worth a guaranteed sum of €34m plus additional bonuses and add-ons.
According to updates from transfer expert Matteo Moretto, representatives from Milan and Feyenoord were in contact again on Monday to further discuss the details of a possible deal.
It remains to be seen whether the next offer will be enough for Feyenoord, who have made it clear that they want Gimenez to be a part of the team for the final round of Champions League league phase fixtures on Wednesday following his brace against Bayern Munich last week.
