Serie A side Milan are ready to agree personal terms with Roma’s Mila Svilar following contacts last week.
According to an update by Nicolo Schira, Milan sporting director Igli Tare staged a meeting with Mile Svilar’s entourage last Thursday to explore a possible transfer this summer. The Rossoneri are preparing for life without Mike Maignan as he is expected to join Chelsea soon, per reports.
Following the contacts led by Tare, Milan have decided to offer a contract worth €3.3 million net per season until 2030 to the Serbian goalkeeper.
The proposal is yet to come officially, as Milan will aim to use a potential agreement on personal terms with the player as leverage during transfer negotiations with Roma.
The Giallorossi want to keep Svilar in their club for a long time but their bids to renew him until 2030 have been considered low by his entourage. If Milan match the player’s demands, it will be tough for Roma to make the 25-year-old stay for next season.
