Milan Skriniar and Marquinhos return to PSG first-team training

Milan Skriniar (29), Marquinhos (29) and Marco Asensio (28) all returned to first-team training for Paris Saint-Germain, just days before Sunday’s Le Classique against Olympique de Marseille.

The returns of Skriniar and Marquinhos are particularly welcome. The former has not played for PSG since an operation on an ankle injury at the start of January. At the time, it had been feared that the former Inter Milan centre-back could be absent until the end of the season, however, he has recovered from the operation well. The latter suffered an ankle injury of his own against FC Nantes in mid-February and has not featured since. Whilst Skriniar will not compete against Marseille on Sunday, Marquinhos is uncertain.

Asensio, who joined Les Parisiens on a free transfer in the summer, has missed the last two games in Ligue 1 with a muscle injury, but he also trained with the first team on Thursday.
