French forward Christopher Nkunku scored his first goal for Milan last night, in the Rossoneri’s 3-0 win against Lecce in Coppa Italia.
The attacker scored his side’s second goal, after an early red card from Lecce’s Jamil Siebert turned the match into a bit of a training session. Goals from Santiago Gimenez and Christian Pulisic helped to complete a convincing win against Eusebio Di Francesco’s side.

However, Nkunku was delighted to get off the mark and every goal counts for boosting confidence at this stage of the season.
Speaking after the game to TeleLombardia, with quotes from MilanNews24, Nkunku said: “It was a good match today from everyone, a great performance, scoring three goals and conceding none. We’re happy to have advanced.”
“I feel good and I’m determined to play even more,” the Frenchman said, “I’m working to feel even better.”
“I feel comfortable here,” he added, “I received a great welcome and everyone makes me feel good, from the staff to my teammates to the fans. I’m happy to play for Milan.”

The former RB Leipzig forward signed for the Rossoneri in a somewhat surprising move this summer. The Frenchman signed from Premier League Chelsea for a reported fee of up to €43 million, if all related bonuses are achieved.
