Milan are in the thick of the night once again in the opening weeks of the 2025-26 Serie A season as Massimiliano Allegri's Rossoneri look to jump into top spot this weekend.
Thus far, the Italian giants are sticking to the script tonight at San Siro after jumping to a 1-0 lead against visiting Pisa, thanks to a goal in the 7th minute by Portuguese ace Rafael Leão.

Still coming up short as a consistent attacking force, perhaps this season will see the former Lille and Sporting man turn over a new leaf, with his strike against Torri coming in as his third goal in his last two appearances.
It has not been a brilliant spell for the Portuguese at San Siro of late, however, with Leão regularly struggling to get on the scoresheet in Italy's fashion capital consistently, with tonight's hit being the first time he has bagged in consecutive home fixtures since May 2024.
More importantly for the star winger, Leão has now reached a century of goal contributions in Serie A, sitting on a combined 100 goals and assists.
If the 26-year-old attacker can continue to put in key attacking performances in the final third under Allegri this season, it could be a catalyst to help Milan march on to major honours.
