Milan striker Luka Jovic has been diagnosed with acute lower back pain, and Sky Sport Italia reports the Serbia international aims to return to action for the Coppa Italia Final against Bologna on May 14.
Jovic was supposed to start for Milan against Venezia on Sunday, but he was forced to the sidelines by a last-minute injury during the warm-up, so Sergio Conceiçao started Tammy Abraham up front instead.
Sky Sport Italia reporter Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the exams Jovic underwent on Monday highlighted acute lower back pain, for which the Serbian international has already begun treatment.

Jovic is expected to miss the next couple of games for the Rossoneri, but the club hopes he will be available for the Coppa Italia Final against Bologna on May 14.
The 27-year-old inspired Milan’s qualification for the Final at the Stadio Olimpico with a brace against Inter in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semifinal last week.
He has scored four goals in 12 appearances across all competitions this season. Although his contract runs out in June, the Rossoneri have an option to extend his stay for a further campaign.
