The women of FC Bayern are putting up strong figures. Last season, the Munich-based club significantly increased its total turnover – and thus set a clear exclamation mark in international women’s soccer
According to the latest „Football Money League“ report by the auditing and consulting firm Deloitte, the Bayern women doubled their turnover to 7.2 million euros, making them one of the ten financially strongest women’s teams in the world and putting them in ninth place in the ranking. In the previous year, the Munich women were in 13th place
The top English clubs are at the top of the global ranking, with Champions League winners FC Arsenal leading the way with a turnover of 25.6 million euros, ahead of Chelsea FC (25.4 million) and FC Barcelona (22.0 million), who were still at the top last year
In addition to FC Bayern, only one other German club is represented in the top 15: Eintracht Frankfurt. The Hessians recently achieved a turnover of €4.7 million, but had to accept a decline compared to the previous season, when Frankfurt still had a turnover of around €6 million
Deloitte published the ranking of the 15 women’s soccer clubs with the highest turnover worldwide for the fourth time. Despite the fact that important markets such as the USA or Australia could not be included due to a lack of data, the total turnover of the top clubs reached a new high. With a total of 158 million euros, the 150 million mark was exceeded for the first time – an increase of around 35% compared to the previous year
A new competition played a decisive role for FC Bayern in particular. The Munich-based club benefited greatly from its triumph in the inaugural World Sevens Football small-sided series. The club collected around €2.3 million in bonuses at the tournament in Portugal last May – around €1 million more than it would have received for winning the Champions League in 2025
The Bayern women are also the measure of all things nationally in sporting terms. After 14 match days, they lead the women’s Bundesliga table by six points ahead of VfL Wolfsburg. In addition, the Munich women have recently won three championship titles in a row

The economic leap forward underlines not only the sporting dominance, but also the growing importance of the Bayern women in international comparison.
