Millwall beat Birmingham 3-0 at The Den to rise from fifth to third in the Championship.

In the 25th minute, Femi Azeez bent a right-footed finish into the top left after Tristan Crama's headed pass unlocked the visitors. Crama then swept in from a set piece (31.).

After the restart, Jake Cooper prodded in from close range following another Crama delivery (49.). Jhon Solís received a second yellow and was sent off (53.), ending Birmingham's hopes of a fightback.

Anthony Patterson kept the Lions secure with first half saves from Solís and Jay Stansfield. A lengthy stoppage for Kai Wagner preceded his withdrawal (68.).
