Millwall host Portsmouth in the Championship at The Den on Saturday, 21 February 2026, with the hosts chasing the play-offs and the visitors looking to pull further clear of the bottom.
Millwall have won four of the previous five meetings in all competitions and start this round third on 56 points, while Portsmouth are 19th with 36.
The Lions' momentum is strong, with three wins and a draw across their last five league games, including away victories at Sheffield Wednesday and Wrexham. Portsmouth's recent run is mixed, bookended by a 3-1 win at Charlton after defeats to Preston and Sheffield United.
Injuries shape both squads. For the Lions, Massimo Luongo, Joe Bryan, Lukas Jensen, William Smallbone and Daniel Kelly are sidelined. Portsmouth list a lengthy absentee group that includes Joshua Murphy, Conor Chaplin, Keshi Anderson, André Dozzell, Conor Shaughnessy and Josh Knight.
The Lions' base looks solid with 12 clean sheets this season, and they deliver a high volume of crosses (492 with 23.58% accuracy) and have seven headed goals, so wide service could be a route in. Portsmouth average 50% possession with 74.77% passing accuracy, but with 30 league goals they may need to be clinical when chances come. Femi Azeez leads the Lions' output with seven league goals and four assists.
A win would move the Lions to 59 points and further cement a play-off berth. Portsmouth would rise to 39 points with victory and could climb the table, edging further from the relegation battle.
