Millwall host West Ham United in the Championship on Saturday at The Den, with the leaders aiming to extend a fast start and the hosts seeking a result to kick on from 11th.
Millwall have 10 points from seven games with a goal difference of zero, while West Ham United sit top on 14 points after scoring 20 times.
The Hammers have won four of seven in the league and posted 56% possession with 86.89% passing accuracy so far. Jarrod Bowen leads their attack with four league goals and seven goal contributions, while the Lions have scored 13 and conceded 13, keeping three clean sheets after a 2-2 draw at Middlesbrough followed by a 3-1 defeat at Blackburn.
Alex Neil's side are without Ryan Leonard, Casper de Norre, Lukas Jensen, Alfie Doughty, Tristan Crama, Josh Coburn, Mathis Servais, Mihailo Ivanović, Romain Esse and Kyrell Lisbie. Nuno Espírito Santo is missing Alphonse Areola, Joel Veltman and Tomás Soucek.
With 20 goals and 50.62% shooting accuracy, the Hammers could test a Lions backline that has allowed 13 goals. The Lions' delivery from wide areas has been frequent, and their two headed goals suggest crosses could be a route to threaten the leaders.
The Irons could tighten their grip on top spot with another positive result, while the Lions may edge closer to the play-off picture if they build on recent home form.
