Minnesota United acquire Aziel Jackson on loan | OneFootball

Minnesota United FC have acquired midfielder Aziel Jackson on loan from Polish top-flight club Jagiellonia Białystok, the club announced Thursday. 

The 24-year-old American's loan is for the remainder of the 2026 MLS season and includes a purchase option. 

The move is a homecoming for Jackson, who signed a homegrown deal with Minnesota in April 2021. He was also a standout for their MLS NEXT Pro team, earning Best XI honors in 2022. 

“We welcome Aziel back to Minnesota United. He’s a talented player who gives us another option in attack as we enter an important stretch of the season," said chief soccer officer and sporting director Khaled El-Ahmad.

"His familiarity with the league, the club and Cameron [Knowles, Minnesota head coach] should help him settle in quickly, and we look forward to his contributions.”

Jackson spent the first half of the 2026 campaign on loan with Vancouver Whitecaps FC, tallying 1g/3a in 14 matches across all competitions.

The Red Bull New York academy product has also played in MLS for St. Louis CITY SC and the Columbus Crew.

Jackson has one assist in 11 appearances for Jagiellonia Białystok since his transfer from Columbus in July 2025.

"The city and fans have always had a special place in my heart. I'm happy to be back home, go Loons!"
