Barcelona are set to sign VfB Stuttgart prospect Mirza Catovic on loan with a purchase obligation, Sky Germany reports.

Cadena SER also reports that an agreement between the clubs has been reached.

The reports add Barcelona will pay c600,000 for the loan, with an obligation to make the move permanent for between cfive million and c10 million, depending on his appearances for the first or second team.

Club Brugge and RB Salzburg had also been linked with the 19-year-old defensive midfielder.

Catovic, a Germany U19 international, has yet to make his first-team debut for Stuttgart.
