A journalist has been explaining why Chelsea will not be winning the Premier League title this year, and many will agree.
At this moment in time though, looking at the Premier League and the position Chelsea are in, it is a fact that they are in the title race. You cannot be in second place in the league and not be put in that conversation.
But in terms of lasting out and being consistently good enough come the end of the season to still be there, will they be there? That is where the doubts are creeping in for many pundits and fans alike.
But right now, Enzo Maresca has done well to get Chelsea where they are, and in a very unpredictable league where even teams like Liverpool and Manchester City have shown real inconsistencies of late, Chelsea will feel that they have every chance to be there come the end of the season.

Football journalist for The Daily Mirror, Darren Lewis, has ruled Chelsea out of winning the Premier League title this season at least.
He says:
“It’s not because they haven’t got a lot of exciting talents or a manager who is coping with all of the challenges of the job. But I think title contenders have a mix of experience and young players in that squad, and I don’t see that experience.”
Chelsea winger Estevao Willian has reached a milestone that only Pele has reached in a Brazil shirt by scoring again for his country last night in the latest round of international matches.
The BBC are reporting that Enzo Maresca’s job as Chelsea manager is safe even if they lose upcoming games against both Arsenal and Barcelona.
