Christian Pulisic isn’t in the best condition and will thus start on the bench for AC Milan against Juventus, according to a report. Samuel Chukwueze will thus replace the American winger.
Pulisic returned from international duty a bit later than everyone else, just like Yunus Musah, and hasn’t been in the best condition in the last few days. Reports suggested yesterday evening that he would be on the bench, but Paulo Fonseca was hoping to give it one last go today.
According to MilanNews, it now looks like Pulisic will be on the bench, with Samuel Chukwueze taking his spot on the right. The Nigerian also started against Cagliari but Loftus-Cheek always looked set to start for this clash, hence why the former is replacing Pulisic tonight.
As for the rest of the XI, the midfield is a given with Youssouf Fofana and Tijjani Reijnders while Matteo Gabbia is back in defence. He will partner up with Malick Thiaw, not with Fikayo Tomori, and Theo Hernandez will also be looking to have a better day on the left.
Predicted Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Emerson, Thiaw, Gabbia, Theo Hernandez; Fofana, Reijnders; Chukwueze, Loftus-Cheek, Leao; Morata.
Predicted Juventus XI (4-2-4): Di Gregorio; Savona, Gatti, Kalulu, Cambiaso; Locatelli, Thuram; Conceicao, Koopmeiners, McKennie, Yildiz.
