Mo Salah story takes ENORMOUS transfer turn

Mo Salah is facing a difficult spell right now and the story looks set to take a turn. Liverpool will have an enormous decision to make.

Mo Salah started on the bench for consecutive Premier League matches with Liverpool for the very first time over the past week. Arne Slot left him out of the XI - and for the entire match - in the win over West Ham United.

He then repeated that trick against Sunderland, with Salah starting with the subs. However, the Reds' terrible performance meant he was introduced at half time.

Salah, as it turns out, is not the problem. Much as Florian Wirtz, Alexander Isak, the midfield, and the full-backs weren't. We'll just have to wait and see who the real scapegoat is.

But it does all bring Salah's future into question. Is he actually going to be a star player for the club again? This is the best-paid player in Liverpool's history and someone who was the undisputed Premier League king last season.

Well, just as we're all wondering what the future holds, things have taken a turn.

Saudi for Mo Salah?

The Telegraph reports that the Saudi Pro League is readying itself to bid for Salah. They've long courted the Liverpool star and did put in a £150m offer back in 2023.

Liverpool rejected that bid, of course, and went on to renew Salah's deal earlier this year. That was all with the idea that the Egyptian was their star, though.

The apparent belief that they can win without Salah questions everything. Liverpool almost certainly don't want to play a non-star £400k each week, while they're also likely to accept any major offer for him.
