Moca FC, Guyana Defence Force meet for first place in Group B

MIAMI – The 2025 CFU Club Shield continues with six Group Stage matches on Monday in the quest to find the tournament’s next champion and award two berths to the 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup.
Group A
Academia Quintana vs. SV Real Rincon
Puerto Rican side Academia Quintana meets SV Real Rincon of Bonaire in Group A at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
Academia Quintana will seek to add to its winning start after a 5-nil win over Rovers SC. Joseph “Jackie” Marrero, Tomás Fernández, Adrián Faisca, Wilfredo Rivera and Kevin Javier Hernández all found the back of the net for the Puerto Rican side.
SV Real Rincon will look to build on a 1-1 draw with La Clery Football League. Ayrton Cicilia struck in the second half to rescue a point from the encounter.
Academy Eagles vs. Rovers SC
Turks and Caicos side Academy Eagles meets Rovers SC of the U.S. Virgin Islands in Group A at Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva, Trinidad and Tobago.
Both sides will be out in search of their first three points in the current campaign. Rovers SC seeks to rebound from defeat in its opening encounter against Academia Quintana.
Group B
Moca FC vs. Guyana Defence Force
Dominican Republic side Moca FC faces Guyana Defence Force of Guyana in Group B at Larry Gomes Stadium in Arima, Trinidad and Tobago.
Both sides were victorious in their opening encounters, setting up an encounter with first place on the line in the group.
An own goal led to Moca’s win versus Étoile de Matoury. Colin Nelson and Chris Macey scored the goals for Guyana Defence Force against St. Paul's United Strikers FC.
SV Britannia vs. St. Paul's United Strikers FC
Aruba side SV Britannia meets St. Paul's United Strikers FC of Saint Kitts and Nevis in Group B at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
Reangelo Boekhoudt rescued a point for SV Britannia in the club’s opening match with Paradise FC International. St. Paul's United will be searching for its first points of the campaign.
AS Étoile de Matoury vs. Paradise FC International
French Guiana side AS Étoile de Matoury faces Paradise FC International of Grenada in Group B at Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva, Trinidad and Tobago.
Keston Williams scored the opening goal in Paradise’s draw with Britannia. Étoile de Matoury will be out for its first points after dropping its opening match to Moca.
