Mohamed Amoura ‘to sign for’ RB Leipzig as talks advance | OneFootball

RB Leipzig are closing in on the signing of VfL Wolfsburg forward Mohamed Amoura.

The 26-year-old is expected to remain in the Bundesliga despite Wolfsburg’s relegation to the second tier. No transfer fee or contract details have been disclosed.

"Mohamed Amoura will play for the German club RB Leipzig, with whom we are in negotiations, and we hope these will lead to a final agreement. Negotiations with the German club are already at a very advanced stage, and we wish our player every success in his new challenge." He told Maghreeb Foot.

Benfica and Everton had shown interest, but Leipzig appear to be leading the race for the Algeria international’s signature.

Amoura joined Wolfsburg permanently last summer following an initial loan, and recorded eight goals and four assists in 33 competitive appearances in 2025/26. He remains under contract until 2029, so Leipzig and Wolfsburg still need to agree a fee.
