The battle for Mohamed Salah’s signature is set to ignite once more, with clubs from the Saudi Pro League "ramping up their efforts" ahead of the summer transfer window. According to exclusive information from Africafoot, a new and formidable contender has officially entered the fray: the "newly ambitious" Al Qadsiah. This newcomer is ready to challenge the established trio of Al Ittihad, Al Hilal, and Al Nassr with a "financially massive offer" designed to lure Liverpool's Egyptian superstar.
This relentless pursuit comes despite a notable "recent dip in his output," a testament to the "extraordinary financial proposal" the Saudi league is prepared to deploy. The saga is a continuation of last summer's high-stakes drama, when Salah came "extremely close to a move" to Saudi Arabia. At the time, he turned down a staggering proposal estimated at £500 million (€572 million), instead opting to commit his future to Anfield with a contract extension until 2027.
Since his arrival from AS Roma in 2017, Salah's legacy has been cemented with "190 goals across all competitions," making him Liverpool's all-time leading scorer in the Premier League. Even in what has been considered an "irregular" campaign this season, he has still managed to find the net five times. Yet, despite his legendary status and current contract, the pull of the Middle East appears stronger than ever, setting the stage for another summer of intense negotiation.
