According to Get French Football News, AS Monaco and Chelsea are in negotiations over Lamine Camara, 22, who is viewed as a potential replacement for Enzo Fernández, 25.
Fernández could join Manchester City before the transfer window closes. AS Monaco managing director Thiago Scuro is said to be leading discussions, with the aim of concluding a deal within 48 hours.
A cheque of around €60m could be enough to persuade Monaco to let Camara leave.
Camara was a key performer in Ligue 1 in 2025-26, recording three goals and four assists in 31 appearances across all competitions for the Monegasque side.
A Senegal international, he played a major role in the Lions of Teranga’s run to the Africa Cup of Nations final and featured in all four of Pape Thiaw’s matches at the World Cup.
