Monaco demanded €70m for Lamine Camara in negotiations with Chelsea | OneFootball

During negotiations with Chelsea for Lamine Camara (22), Monaco set their asking price at €70m, according to a report from Romain Molina. Les Monégasques sporting director Thiago Scuro demanded that the Premier League club fronted up the desired money for the Senegalese international midfielder. However, the Blues were unwilling to match the Principality club’s asking price.

As a result of the Monaco director of football’s demands for the former Metz midfielder, a prospective move to the West London club collapsed. It now appears that the move will not go through before the end of the transfer window. The Blues had offers of €45m and €50m rejected by the Côte d’Azur outfit.

Chelsea set to miss out on a replacement for Enzo Fernández?

With their prospective pursuits of Manu Koné (25) and Lamine Camara (22) falling short, the Premier League club look set to enter the season without a replacement of Enzo Fernández (25). The Argentina international midfielder is in the process of completing a move to Manchester City.
