Steve Ngoura has received his first France U21s call-up for the upcoming international break after Sidiki Chérif was ruled ineligible.

According to Fabrice Hawkins, AS Monaco are interested in the 21-year-old and could move for him in the summer.

The report adds that a deal could be easily facilitated, as Cercle Brugge and the Principality club share the same owner, Dmitry Rybolovlev.

Ngoura joined Cercle Brugge from Le Havre AC in the winter of 2025 for a fee just over two million euros.

He has played 31 games in a difficult season for the Belgian side. He has contributed four goals and six assists, and his stock has risen.
