Aleksandr Golovin and Ismail Jakobs have been ruled out of AS Monaco’s trip to face Stade Brestois. The duo are likely to be out until the end of the season.
Jakobs suffered a knee injury during Monaco’s 1-0 victory over Stade Rennais a fortnight ago. He has since undergone surgery and it is touch-and-go as to whether he will feature again this season. The same goes for Golovin, who suffered an ankle injury in training earlier this week.
Kassoum Ouattara will come in for Jakobs, whilst Eliesse Ben Seghir is likely to take Golovin’s place in the starting XI. Alternatively, Adi Hütter could make a shift to a two-man attack, which would see Folarin Balogun and Wissam Ben Yedder aligned together. Thilo Kehrer is also out after being sent off against Rennes.
