Monaco predicted XI v Lorient: Wout Faes set for debut | OneFootball

AS Monaco are decimated heading into Friday evening’s game against FC Lorient. Sébastien Pocognoli must contend with 11 absentees, although the Belgian will be able to count on his new signing, Wout Faes. 

Faes joined Monaco on Tuesday and, amid an injury crisis, is expected to be thrown straight into the line-up for this evening. Thilo Kehrer, Mamadou Coulibaly, and Stanis Idumbo are all suspended for this encounter. Krépin Diatta and Lamine Camara are still away at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) with Senegal.

Then there are the injury-related absences of Lukas Hradecky, Christian Mawissa, Mohammed Salisu, Takumi Minamino, Pape Cabral, and Paul Pogba. To make matters even worse, there is a virus going around the squad. Aladji Bamba and Idumbo were victims of it this week, whilst Lucas Michal was forced to pull out of Wednesday’s training session having shown symptoms.
