Mohammed Salisu is out for AS Monaco’s visit to RC Strasbourg Alsace on Sunday, however, Adi Hütter could welcome Ismail Jakobs and Vanderson back to the fold.
Ghanaian international Salisu missed last weekend’s fixture against Paris Saint-Germain with a hamstring injury, and he has not recovered in time to face Strasbourg. However, there is positive news for Hütter. Jakobs and Vanderson have been absent in recent weeks. Both trained with the first-team this week and both have made the matchday squad. It remains to be seen whether either is fit enough to start.
Krépin Diatta and Mohamed Camara both remain absent with their respective injuries. The latter suffered what looked like a severe knee injury, however, tests have shown that injury not to be as serious as first feared. It looks unlikely, however, that he will play for Monaco before the international break.
