AS Monaco can seal a Conference League group-stage place on Thursday at 18:45 at Stade Louis-II, hosting Gornik Zabrze with a 3-2 first-leg lead, but their forward options remain thin.

According to Nice-Matin, head coach Filipe Luis has ruled out Folarin Balogun, Matthis Abline, Ansu Fati, Takumi Minamino and Mohammed Salisu. There have been no new signings and no players have returned from the treatment room since last week.

Abline, injured in the final friendly at Coventry, has not resumed training, he still has stitches and cannot put his boots on yet. He should also miss the visit of OM on Sunday night. His coach hopes to see him rejoin full training in the following days.

Balogun, with his exit pending, is still not training with the group, he was absent from Wednesday morning’s session and will not feature against the Polish side. Fati also missed the eve-of-game workout with a calf issue.

Minamino and Salisu, both in recovery, are out as well. Suspensions have cleared after Coulibaly and Golovin sat out in Poland and Mawissa in Normandy.

Monaco opened Ligue 1 with a 1-0 win at Le Havre, yet absentees from long term or recent knocks continue to limit selection.
