AS Monaco have submitted a new bid for Algeria international Fares Ghedjemis (23), according to a report from Foot Mercato, as the Principality club step up their attempts to source a replacement for Maghnes Akliouche, who left to join Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month.

Ghedjemis, who excelled with Frosinone in Serie B last season, helping the club to secure promotion to Italy’s top-flight, is expected to be on the move this summer. However, the winger does not come cheap. As a result, Celtic and Rangers, both of whom showed strong interest in the player, have removed themselves from the race.
