According to L’Équipe, AS Monaco, Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund and the City Group could all battle it out to sign promising Ecuadorian forward Allen Obando (17).

The Barcelona SC Guayaquil forward is being coveted by some of Europe’s elite. Obando has already made his professional debut, but it is his performances for the Ecuador U17 side that have caught the eyes of recruiters. In 14 games, he already has six goals and that has been enough to attract the interest of Manchester City, Monaco, PSG and Dortmund.

Monaco are reportedly preparing for life without Wissam Ben Yedder. The club captain’s contract expires at the end of the season, and there are no signs of a renewal. The Principality club signed Folarin Balogun in the summer, and whilst he represents the future of Monaco’s attack, other elements will be expected to complement the USMNT forward. However, in the face of such stiff competition, Thiago Scuro could have his work cut out to convince the promising Ecuadorian forward to move to the Stade Louis II.
