Folarin Balogun’s scoring streak continued as the Monaco forward struck in a 2-0 win over Stade Brestois, drawing praise from Sébastien Pocognoli.

According to Get French Football News, Pocognoli said the 24-year-old is working towards consistency and he thinks the USMNT forward is pushing team-mates in his area of the pitch.

Balogun is on 14 goals in all competitions, already more than his past two seasons at Monaco combined.

He has scored in each of his past four Ligue 1 matches, form that has helped lift Monaco back into the European race.

The Principality club are now sixth, having been in mid-table at the start of February. Pocognoli also described Balogun as ambitious, focused and professional, saying his hard work is being repaid.
