Maghnes Akliouche (24) has agreed terms with Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report from RMC Sport.
Akliouche is set to leave his formative club this summer. He was touted to leave last summer, but the price tag set by the Principality club proved prohibitive. Monaco, however, won’t stand in his way this summer.
However, Fabrizio Romano reported that it was PSG who were leading the race. The AS Monaco academy product is viewed as the replacement for Lee Kang-in. RMC Sport understands that Atletico Madrid and PSG have just struck a deal (worth just over €40m, including bonuses) for the transfer of the South Korea international.
With that deal progressing, PSG have now upped their attempts to sign Akliouche. There is an agreement in place between the player, currently representing France at the FIFA World Cup, and the reigning European champions. Talks between Les Parisiens and Les Monégasques have now just begun.
