According to L'Équipe, Monaco director general Thiago Scuro set out on Wednesday his account of why the transfers of Folarin Balogun and Lamine Camara collapsed, and considered possible consequences after the expected major sale did not materialise.
On the training ground the same day, the focus quickly returned to the group.

The American forward, Balogun, was not on the pitch.
The Senegalese midfielder, Camara, took part, working through coordination drills and being consoled by team-mates during the warm-up lap.
Their proposed moves to Chelsea and Everton had fallen through, leaving Monaco to manage the immediate aftermath.
