Montenegro’s slate sweeps Fluminense’s council seats

Mattheus Montenegro’s ticket secured all the seats on Fluminense’s Deliberative Council after Saturday’s (29th) election, thanks to a wide margin over Ademar Arrais in the votes — 3,262 to 1,295, more than double.

In total, 4,719 members participated in the election, which recorded the highest turnout in the history of the tricolor elections.Mattheus Montenegro will lead the club for the next three years, until the end of 2028.
