Esteban Andrada of Mexican side Monterrey is the latest name to be linked as a potential back-up goal-keeper for Roma.
The 33-year-old Argentine played together with Daniele De Rossi at Boca Juniors and is now being linked with a move to the Italian capital to replace Rui Patricio as the vice-Mile Svilar.
Monterrey coach Fernando Ortiz opened to the player’s exit in a recent press conference.
“It’s good that European clubs are looking at our players, this makes me very happy,” said Ortiz.
“It shows that Monterrey is doing a good job. I won’t hold back any player, I won’t oppose any negotiations.”
“It hurts, but it is right to let go of those who have decided to continue their growth path elsewhere,” he concluded.
