It's almost a done deal! Congolese forward Nathanaël Mbuku is set to sign with Montpellier this summer. The player's medical examination is scheduled for Monday, July 7, 2025.

According to Foot Mercato, the Congolese international striker Nathanaël Mbuku is indeed set to sign in the coming hours with the club from La Mosson.

Mbuku is expected in Hérault on Monday, with his medical scheduled for the start of the week. The move is expected to be a loan deal with an option to buy.

The Congolese striker was fully convinced by Zoumana Camara’s Montpellier project. After a stint at ASSE last season, Mbuku will officially leave Dinamo Zagreb and return to France, having previously come through the ranks at Stade de Reims before his spell with Augsburg in Germany.
