Montpellier winger Arnaud Nordin (25) has suffered another injury setback and is therefore set to miss the club’s match against Clermont Foot this weekend.
Nordin is struggling to recover from a thigh injury that he suffered in pre-season. He was injured during a friendly against Toulouse FC on 15th July. During a 2-2 draw against RC Strasbourg Alsace on 17th September, he then suffered a reoccurrence of the injury, which once again sidelined him.
The Frenchman had been close to a return, but the club have revealed that Nordin has suffered another setback during training on Friday. He had been included in Michel Der Zakarian’s squad to face Clermont on Sunday, but he will take no part in the encounter. The severity of the setback is yet to be ascertained, but the upcoming international break will give Nordin time to recover. In his absence, Wahbi Khazri and Moussa Al-Tamari will play in the wide areas for Montpellier.
