Como star Alvaro Morata feels last season was as positive for him as he won three trophies, but won’t discuss his Milan exit: ‘Maybe I’ll talk about it when I stop playing.’

Como striker Morata refused to provide details about his Milan exit on Monday, after a 1-1 home draw against Genoa.

Morata joined Galatasaray on loan from Milan in January 2025, after just six months at San Siro.

He won a trophy with Milan and two with the Turkish giants, so he disagreed with a reporter who described his 2024-25 campaign as ‘negative’ at a post-match press conference.

“If for you, having a complicated season means winning three trophies…I don’t agree,” Morara said via Calciomercato.com.

“Last year at Milan, I won at the Bernabeu [against Real Madrid] in the Champions League, we won the Supercup by beating Juventus and Inter.

“It wasn’t a negative season. It’s true that the way I left was negative, but I can’t answer that. Maybe I’ll talk about it when I stop playing.”

“Things weren’t going as badly as they seemed. But then there were things I never experienced in my career and I prefer to keep them to myself,” Morata said.

“I no longer felt comfortable and I decided to leave before becoming a problem.”

The Spaniard has signed a contract until June 2029, completing an initial loan move with an obligation to buy from the Rossoneri.

Morata has provided one assist in his opening four appearances with Como.
