Moreirense end Michel loan, return him to Palmeiras | OneFootball

Moreirense have terminated Michel's loan and returned the centre-back to Palmeiras, according to Nosso Palestra. The Portuguese club cites just cause, alleging absences from team training.

Michel joined Moreirense on loan in January 2025 on a deal running until 30 June 2026.

Since arriving he made nine appearances.

Sources close to the player allege moral harassment and say that after he was injured using a weights machine, club staff told him to remain at home.

Palmeiras declined to comment on Michel's situation when contacted.

An academy product, Michel featured in Palmeiras sides that won Under-17 and Under-20 titles. He was named in some senior squads under Abel Ferreira but has not played for the first team since 2021, the year of his debut. He has five senior appearances.
