Moreirense have joined the chase for Alberto Marí, with the Valencia striker back fit and working under Carlos Corberán. According to Superdeporte, he will leave Mestalla this summer after interest from several second division clubs.
Marí has overcome his injury and, in recent days, has trained at the same intensity as his team-mates in Paterna, following a personalised conditioning plan.
The Portuguese side finished seventh last season and have three Spaniards in their squad, Álvaro Martínez, Rodri Alonso and Michael Dacosta.
He is under contract until 2027 and the club are working on a transfer before the window closes. The forward feels good again and wants to prove he is ready to compete at his best, but first he must choose a destination that will help him grow.
Last season he spent time on loan at CD Mirandés. On 20 March in Valencia he underwent surgery to resolve a left hamstring injury suffered during that spell, an issue now considered behind him as he focuses on the next step in his career.
