With Nayef Aguerd ruled out through injury, Walid Regragui has just called up Abdelhamid Aït Boudlal to bolster his squad for this November's friendlies.

Yesterday, OM enjoyed an almost perfect evening with a commanding 3-0 win over Brest. However, the Olympians lost defender Nayef Aguerd to injury. After the match, Roberto De Zerbi sounded the alarm, urging Morocco to rest Aguerd during the upcoming international break to prevent him from missing AFCON 2025 due to this groin issue.
As a result, Nayef Aguerd will miss Morocco's two friendlies against Uganda and Mozambique this month. On Sunday, Morocco decided to call up a new central defender. Walid Regragui has selected Rennes’ young defender Abdelhamid Aït Boudlal as his replacement.
