Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic didn’t even warm up in a 2-1 win over Como on Friday, but Thiago Motta insisted ‘everyone’ would be given a chance: ‘They know they can make a difference whether starting or coming on during the game.’

Vlahovic is Juventus’ best scorer this season with 13 goals in 28 appearances, but he’s only started one game in 2025 and went on the bench in the last three Serie A matches, seeing new signing Randal Kolo Muani get the nod as a sole striker.

The French forward, who is on loan from PSG, has had a devastating impact, scoring five goals in his first three appearances with the Bianconeri.

As Sky Sport Italia and DAZN reported, Vlahovic didn’t even warm up in Juventus’ 2-1 victory against Como last night.

SportMediaset asked Motta whether the Serbian striker could be given more playing time in the following matches, starting with a Champions League knockout playoff against PSV next week.

“There will always be space for everyone,” Motta replied via TMW.

“Dusan has played many games so far, even in matches where he wasn’t in optimal condition but still needed to be involved.

“He is an important player, just like everyone else. They know they can make a difference whether starting or coming on during the game, always for the team’s good.”

Vlahovic played 19 Serie A matches for Juventus in 2024–25, scoring eight goals. He has also played seven games in the UEFA Champions League, scoring four goals.
