José Mourinho justified his expulsion at the end of the Classic between Benfica and FC Porto during the post-match press conference. The coach stated that Lucho González, Farioli's assistant, called him a traitor.

«Lucho called me a traitor about five times. Traitor to whom? When he went to Marseille, was he a traitor? He could have insulted me in another way. But I don't like having my professionalism attacked. Wherever we are, we give it our all. I was disappointed because he is a professional like me. I didn't understand this traitor thing.»
