Barring a major surprise in the upcoming presidential elections, Florentino Perez is expected to return as Real Madrid president, and once that is done, Jose Mourinho is all set to be named the new manager.
The Portuguese tactician has already signed a three-year contract to return to the Santiago Bernabeu, 13 years after his first stint at the club came to an end.
With his return all but guaranteed, Mourinho is already having a huge say in Real Madrid’s transfer plans for the summer.
And, as per Gianluca Di Marzio, Mourinho is continuing to push for Nico Paz to return to Real Madrid immediately after two successful seasons with Como 1907.

Como are doing everything possible to retain the young Argentine for one more year.
The player himself is also said to have expressed a desire to remain under the management of Cesc Fabregas, after helping the team qualify for the UEFA Champions League for next season.
Mourinho, however, is not open to the idea of the Argentine staying at Como. The Portuguese manager wants Nico Paz in Madrid straight away as part of his plans.
As such, if nothing changes, Real Madrid will press ahead with their plan of activating Nico Paz’s buyback clause which is worth €9 million.

Los Blancos sold the 21-year-old creative midfielder to Como in 2024 but retained buyback clauses for three years so that they can re-sign him should he flourish as expected.
Nico has easily been the most exciting youngster on display in Serie A over the past couple of seasons, playing a huge role in Como’s growth in the Italian top flight.
Now, he is all set to return to the Santiago Bernabeu, with Mourinho keen on working with the youngster next season.
