Moussa Diaby heading for a return to Europe?
Moussa Diaby could be on his way out of Saudi Arabia in the coming months. The French winger, currently under contract with Al-Ittihad Club until 2029, continues to attract attention from several top European clubs.
In Germany, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are closely monitoring his situation. A move to Inter Milan was on the table this winter, but negotiations fell through. In England, Chelsea FC, Liverpool FC, Tottenham Hotspur FC, and Newcastle United FC are all reportedly interested. Over in Spain, Atlético de Madrid is also following the case.
This winter, a loan deal with a €35 million buy option was on the table, but Al-Ittihad were holding out for around €40 million. Signed for €60 million in 2024, Diaby has scored 2 goals and provided 6 assists in 22 matches this season. At 26, a return to Europe remains a real possibility. The question now is whether a club will make a move this summer.
