Moylan brace sinks Charlton as Cardiff City climb | OneFootball

Cardiff City beat Charlton Athletic 3-1 at Cardiff City Stadium to climb from 20th to 19th in the Championship.

In the eighth minute Jack Moylan swept in from the centre of the box after Yousef Salech's pass. Salech doubled the lead with a neat finish (24.) following Moylan's set-up.

Tyreece Campbell cut the gap for Charlton (29.), running onto Tyler Bindon's through ball on a fast break and finding the bottom corner from outside the area.

After the restart, Ollie Tanner squared for Moylan to lash in his second (61.), restoring Cardiff City's two-goal cushion.

Cardiff City carried the threat, registering 27 attempts and 62.3% possession. Charlton were limited to six attempts, with Arthur Okonkwo making five saves to prevent further damage.

Late on, Salech went off injured after the hosts had used all their substitutions.
