Thomas Müller played his final Bundesliga game for Bayern Munich on Saturday, ahead of his summer departure from his boyhood club.
Müller started as Bayern wrapped up the 2024/25 league season away to Hoffenheim, before being withdrawn in the 61st minute for Harry Kane.
The Matchday 34 fixture was his 503rd and last in the Bundesliga in the red of the 33-time champions, though the 35-year-old will get the chance to add to his club record 751 competitive appearances at the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup in June and July.
Bayern to the bone, Müller has enjoyed 24 seasons of professional football with the club he first joined at the age of 10. He lifted some 34 titles during that time, including a record-extending 13th in the Bundesliga in 2024/25.
The 2014 FIFA World Cup winner has registered 248 goals and 211 assists in all competitions, cementing his status as one of the game's last, true one-club legends.
The fabled Raumdeuter's departure marks the end of an era at Bayern, but there is still the prospect of his last dance concluding with one final piece of silverware when the freshly crowned Bundesliga champions head to the USA next month to contest the Club World Cup against the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid and Manchester City.
