Musiala ‘to return’ to Bayern squad to face Schalke | OneFootball

Jamal Musiala is set to rejoin the Bayern Munich squad for Saturday’s Bundesliga match against Schalke 04, according to Sky Germany.

The midfielder has missed Bayern’s first three competitive games of the 2026/27 season. Head coach Vincent Kompany said on Friday that a decision on his availability would follow the final training session.

That call now appears to have been made, with Musiala in line for his first squad appearance since he collapsed in a pre-season friendly against 1. FC Heidenheim.

The incident followed a similar collapse during the previous Telekom Cup meeting with RB Leipzig. He later said he had been diagnosed with brief, temporary but easily treatable episodes of absence caused by a neurological dysfunction.
