Muslić believes Schalke deserved their point against “best in the world” Bayern

Newly-promoted Schalke 04 ended FC Bayern’s winning start to the season. The Royal Blues held the Rekordmeister to a goalless draw in their first Bundesliga game back at Veltins Arena.

"For me, FC Bayern is the best team in the world,” Miron Muslić admitted in his post-match interview. “There's no bigger compliment to my team than keeping a clean sheet against Bayern. We had a good match plan and executed it well. We had everything today, so we deserved the point."

Muslić and Schalke will now turn their attention to registering their first league win of the season when they commence matchday 3 against Union Berlin, who also have one point from the first couple of weeks.
