Roshn Saudi League Fantasy experts are backing Karim Benzema to score in back-to-back matches for the first time this season.
Remarkably, the recent Al Hilal recruit is the only player among the league’s top 11 scorers (10+ goals) this campaign who has not yet managed to find the net in consecutive games.
With that in mind, here’s our recommendations for Matchweek 22, laid out nicely in a first XI, all while sticking to a budget of SAR 80 million.

Mailson - Al Taawoun (5.4 million)
Up to the conclusion of Matchweek 20, the Brazilian was the only goalkeeper ranked inside the top 100 Fantasy players. Even after two more shot-stoppers crossed the 100-point mark, he remains the highest-scoring option between the sticks.
The Al Taawoun custodian kicks off the round as his top-four chasers travel to relegation-threatened Damac, offering another opportunity to add to his impressive tally.
Mohammed Mahzari - Al Taawoun (5.0m)
Another Al Taawoun man, Mahzari ranks among the top six defenders, with 120 Fantasy points. He has also won Man of the Match twice, tied with seven other defensive peers for the most awards in the RSL this term.
Mahzari comes into Matchweek 22 in strong form, averaging around seven points per match across his past three appearances.
Danilo Pereira - Al Ittihad (6.1m)
Fresh from signing a contract extension this week, the title-winning centre-back leads all players in the RSL Performance Index, with 1,642 points, ahead of Joao Felix and Malcom.
In Fantasy terms, Pereira has collected 146 points, second among defenders only to Mohammed Abu Al Shamat. Al Ittihad host Al Fayha, offering a solid potential for returns.
Kalidou Koulibaly - Al Hilal (6.1m)
Having last month captured the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), the Senegal star has made an immediate impact upon his return, racking up 20 Fantasy points across the past two rounds.
Koulibaly was also voted Man of the Match in the goalless draw with title rivals Al Ahli. After missing nine games because of AFCON commitments, the defender’s ownership is rising steadily and now stands at 11.6 percent. Leaders Al Hilal host an albeit-in-form Al Ettifaq.
Mohammed Abu Al Shamat - Al Qadsiah (6.3m)
The enterprising Al Qadsiah full-back remains the highest-scoring defender in RSL Fantasy, with 154 points.
Abu Al Shamat leads all defenders in assists (10), contributing significantly to Al Qadsiah’s 45 league goals - and, in turn, their title challenge. Only Riger Ibanez and Theo Hernandez have been selected by more Fantasy managers.
The Greek playmaker leads the 2025-26 RSL with 11 assists, including seven for teammate Joshua King. Clearly, Fortounis is integral to Al Khaleej’s top-six push this campaign.
Now, he closes in on the Saudi Pro League-era assist record (15), set by Alejandro “Kaku” Romero and matched last season by Al Hilal captain Salem Al Dawsari. Al Khaleej travel to the capital to face third-from-bottom Al Riyadh.
Julian Quinones - Al Qadsiah (10.4m)
The Mexico international is certainly firing ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup on home soil, sitting pretty as the second-highest scoring Fantasy player this season, with 197 points.
Quinones is currently on a remarkable 10-match scoring streak, finding the net in nine of those matches as he chases not only the RSL title, but the golden boot. Currently, he’s on 18 goals, one back from top-scorer Ivan Toney.
Joao Felix - Al Nassr (8.0m)
The Al Nassr superstar is only seven points from surpassing 200 fantasy points - a milestone that only three players are close to reaching this season.
Felix remains the most selected player in the game by a wide margin, with an average ownership of 61.6%. Second-placed Al Nassr close out the matchweek at Al Fateh.
Malcom - Al Hilal (9.4m)
Al Hilal’s brilliant Brazilian delivered one of the standout performances last round, scoring once and providing three assists in the statement win at Al Okhdood.
Malcom was therefore one of only two players to exceed 20 Fantasy points in Matchweek 21. In the reverse fixture against Al Ettifaq earlier this season, the attacker earned 10 points in a 5-0 triumph - a promising sign ahead of this week’s match-up.
Karim Benzema - Al Hilal (11.3m)
Al Hilal’s new signing was the star of the previous round, earning 27 points on debut - his highest single-match total this season.
Benzema now leads the RSL this term in hat-tricks (three) and is thus only one treble away from matching the all-time league record for a single season, currently held by Abderrazak Hamdallah and Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema’s former Real Madrid teammate.
Roger Martinez - Al Taawoun (7.4m)
Completing our Al Taawoun treble this week, the Colombian striker ranks among the top three forwards this season, accruing 163 fantasy points.
Martinez has scored 15 goals already, sitting only four behind lead man Toney. Among the six strikers owned by more than 20% of Fantasy managers, the South American hotshot stands out for his consistency and strong recent performances.
