Nobody will be that surprised, least of all Alexander Isak.
It has been coming.
Alexander Isak rarely not scoring in recent Newcastle United matches.
Whilst game after game, not unusual to see him failing to take other very decent chances, as the creativity levels have risen at NUFC.
Alexander Isak with a richly deserved first ever Newcastle United hat-trick, Ipswich didn’t know what had hit them today!
Though to be honest, he could (should?) have scored four or five.
What a brilliant Eddie Howe signing.
Alexander Isak has been speaking to Premier League Productions after his first ever NUFC hat-trick:
“We have been playing so much better lately and it has been showing in the results.
“It has been a long time coming for Newcastle United.
“My first hat-trick here, I’m buzzing.
“Just scoring goals will give confidence and help me and the team.
“It doesn’t matter if it’s one, two or three.”
Alexander Isak on fellow goalscorer Jacob Murphy:
“He is really helpful and a team player.
“I’m obviously happy for him that he gets rewarded with goals too.”
